WS4 Begins Regional Expansion
Argentina-based e-marketing company WS4
(www.ws4.com) will start operations in Brazil next month
in the run up to a full blown regional expansion program
during 1H02, WS4 founder
Jean Sanchez told BNamericas.com.
"We are defining the conditions to start operations
in Brazil and as owners of our software we could start up
tomorrow no problem," said Sanchez.
For its regional expansion program, WS4
is developing a strategy that would see local partners acquire
shares in the company, Sanchez said, although he stressed
that it was not a franchise strategy.
WS4 develops online
marketing solutions and "in-house" software solutions.
Revenues are based on a minimum monthly fee of US$1,000,
depending on the scale of the project, and the company expects
to break even in October "in the worst case scenario,"
he said.
WS4 clients include
women's cosmetics group L'Oreal, Argentine automobile portal
Carone (www.carone.com.ar), and brick-and-mortar companies
new to the Internet.
WS4 launched commercial
service at the end of April this year with an initial investment
by the company's founders of US$650,000.
